Designer

Since childhood, I have felt drawn to beauty, to fabrics, to light, to movement, and to the harmony of forms. I have always loved creating with my own hands: sewing, drawing, combining colors and textures. Even then, I was drawn to the world of fashion and art. Many of my friends were convinced that I would dedicate my life to painting, and some still have my artworks hanging.
But in life, it often happens that in our youth we listen more to others than to ourselves – to our parents, their opinions, their advice, even when our hearts call us elsewhere. And so I chose a stable, rational profession as a programmer, even though inwardly I had always dreamed of the world of fashion, of creativity, of beauty.
Over time, I realized that I needed to follow the call of my soul, not the expectations of others. I understood that I could combine logic and feeling, precision and inspiration, and forge my own path.
Perhaps I did not become a traditional painter, but the sense of the beautiful has always lived within me. It simply took a different form. Today, I express myself through MATSOUR’I dresses – my living canvas, my way of conveying light, movement, and emotion in every line, every stitch, and every detail.
Everything begins with a mood, sometimes a memory, music, color, the movement of the wind, or the image of a woman I imagine. I choose the fabrics: silk, jacquard, French tulle, embroidery and gradually a story emerges. I experience each dress as a living organism, where fabric and form breathe together.
I do not chase trends. If certain colors or silhouettes become popular in a season, I do not follow them. I create what I feel. For me, fashion is not a reflection of trends but a reflection of an inner state. I create my own world, my own aesthetic, my own direction.
And of course, everything begins with the fabric. I must see it, touch it, feel its temperature, texture, and energy. Only when I understand its character does the dress come to life. I cannot create a piece without feeling the material; the fabric guides me to its shape, movement, and even the mood of the future look.
